Nollywood star, Stephanie Okereke Linus has told bloggers and reporters from various media houses to report the rape allegation without going against ethics of journalism. Prince Daniel Okereke, a relative of the top Nollywood actress was arrested following report that he raped Arinola, a 22 year old University of Lagos undergraduate.
In a statement, Staphanie said she has been in the spotlight, campaigning against every form of domestic violence. Rape in whatever form is wrong and should not be treated with kid glove, she said.
Stephanie said those reporting the story should desist from using her and her pictures as the primary focus of their report, instead they should dig into the story and the people involved.
The actress got married to Linus Idahosa, a media consultant in Paris, France some years ago.
